The Mannerheim League for Child Welfare develops its work through projects. The main focus for the projects is to develop new models and ways to work to use for the local associations and district organizations. Some nation-wide services have also been developed by the projects.
The helpline for children the Leagues “Child and youth phone” and helpline for parents "Parentline" are examples of a functions that were started in a project. The Finnish Slot Machine Association RAY is the biggest financier of the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare projects.
