The Mannerheim League for Child Welfare (MLL) has over 68,000 members in 528 local associations.

I consider volunteer work and association activities to be important. Without associations, there would be hardly any events here in this small town!

I retired and wanted to devote my time to volunteer work. I served on the MLL board and as treasurer, and then remained a member to support this good and important cause.

As a new mother in a new town, I missed having people around me. Through MLL, I found them, and I am so grateful for their work that I have continued to pay my membership fees for over 20 years.
